The University of Sheffield’s Students’ Union is ranked number one in the UK* and provides an exceptional range of clubs and societies, events, activities and volunteering opportunities to enhance your experience. They hold live music, comedy, talks and film screenings in their 400-seater Students' Union cinema.

With your Associate Student status you’ll have access to The University of Sheffield’s outstanding facilities. You can choose from a wide range of activities and sports, including over 400 societies and sports clubs.

The sport facilities include two full sized synthetic turf pitches, a fully equipped gym and fitness centre, and a fibreglass moulded bouldering wall. If you love the outdoors, the Peak District is right on your doorstep.

The £20 million Students’ Union has great cafes and bars offering live music, comedy, talks, film screenings and nights out, or just a spot to take some time out in the Students’ Union building.

Elaine oversees the commercial, operational and administrative affairs of the Campus, ensuring delivery is of a high-quality student experience, promoting the University's mission and strategic ambitions and ensures a positive and inclusive campus environment for students, visitors and staff. Elaine has a wealth of commercial and operational expertise from higher education and private sectors, having managed operations at Burberry plc before holding a number of leadership roles at the University of Bradford.
