Most graduates from UK higher education providers are included in the Graduate Outcomes survey. You'll usually be contacted 15 months after completing your course. For students undertaking repeat or delayed assessments, the survey will be issued 15 months after the final course completion date.
If you have since moved into postgraduate study, with us or elsewhere, you'll still be surveyed – universities cannot provide this information on your behalf.
During the survey window, you may receive:
- An email invitation with a link to complete the survey online.
- SMS messages from ‘GradOutcomes’ and phone calls offering support to complete the survey.
The Graduate Outcomes survey is run by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) which is part of JISC - the designated data body for UK higher education under the Higher Education and Research Act 2017. HESA manages the survey on behalf of all universities and works with an approved survey contractor to collect the data. As the national organisation responsible for higher education data, HESA has been producing and publishing graduate statistics for many years to inform policy, practice and student decision making.
